And if you’re comfortable doing it yourself that’s absolutely fine.
Using a friend or partner to help is cool too!
The best places to measure your body circumferences are all down the same side.
So all on the right hand side of our body we should measure:
Arm
- Bicep (tensed, and measured at the peak or highest part of the muscle)
Chest
- Around the middle of the sternum (this is not required for ladies. . . .)
Belly button
- Easy enough! Simply measure directly around your belly button.
Bum -
Measure around the biggest part of your butt
Leg -
From the top of your knee cap, measure 15 centimetres up, then measure the circumference of your leg
We should always see a trend of these either going up or down, depending on what your goal is, and whether you’re sticking to the nutrition principles :)
