How you feel
Progress can’t always be measured in numbers, clothes sizes and photos.
The main aim for everyone when it comes to training should always be to feel better.
If you feel good after you’ve trained, then that’s the absolute best thing in the world!
I’m sure you’re probably aware, but all forms of Training release endorphins, this is what makes us feel great after we’ve trained in the gym, or been for a nice long walk, or generally just been more active than we would be usually.
The psychological benefits of training massively outweigh any aesthetic changes in my opinion.
If we feel better when we train, then the changes in the way we look should be a by product of the way we feel.
So in reality everyone wins, we feel better, we look better.
Always prioritise how you feel over how you look!
