Total Weight Lifted

This is a great measure of strength progress.

Getting stronger should always be a priority regardless of of other goals, as being stronger will make is easier to achieve.
If you’re noticing that over the course of the weeks/months you're consistently lifting more weight, and are struggling less with the weight you found difficult to begin with, this is the best way to measure strength progress.

Here's an example to demonstrate how overall weight lifting during our sessions can be a good marker:

Week 1: squats 3x10 with 20 kgs

- we’ve done 30 reps in total with 20 kgs which equals 600 kgs

Week 3: Squats 4x12 with 35 kgs

We’ve done 48 reps in total with 35 kgs which equals 1,680 kgs
So we’ve lifted 1,080 more kilos from week 1 to week 3.

In your app, it should tell you what weight you lifted in your last session for each separate exercise, so we should always aim to beat that number.

*Keep in mind technique is more important than weight on the bar.
